wahine wrap

the spiritual vehicle

I love to hear from Wahine Wrap clients. I love feedback and ideas which keeps my ideas flowing. Our fabrics have been improving, it has been easier to purchase and find organic bamboo jersey and higher end fabrics are becoming more readily available to smaller companies. I am so grateful everyday on this planet and that I found a way to create and play. I gave a hitchhiker a ride today and he wanted to hang out with me and go everywhere with me.. I probably could of used the help, but he kept telling me he wasn’t attached to devices and phones and things and that he was on his spiritual path and I told him we are all on our spiritual path yet each one of us uses different vehicles to get there. I feel my work gets me there, helps me use my intuition and guides to make choices everyday that affect me and other people. I have to constantly remember to not take myself too seriously, I kinda wonder if I should of spent the day with a lonely hitchhiker instead of run my errands….. hee hee.. maybe next time Billy.

It’s been over year and The Wahine Wrap is now being worn by many lovely ladies of all shapes, sizes and ages around the world. I am grateful and happy for the endless support and inspiration from my community, friends, and family. There are new colors and fabrics showing up everyday and I look forward to another awesome year of making The Wahine Wrap with love, music and the vibrant healing colors of nature. Some of you have asked for shorter versions, others want something longer and some just need a little extra around the middle. Your wish is my command.

discovery

I first discovered the wrap on Poipu Beach, Kauai. Where the fabulous Colleen got up from the sand picked up her things and gracefully threw on her wrap ready for sunset and cocktails. It looked as if she had gone home and got ready. I was so impressed I could not stop myself from interviewing her on her fabulous lifestyle and I immediately had to make her wrap in hundreds of colors and styles. Today she still dances on the shores of Poipu and spreads her love to everyone she meets. I will be forever grateful to her for her grace and generosity. “Mahalo Nui Loa Lady.”
